The OBSERV 320 uses advanced light modes to capture clear skin images and show different aspects of your skin more visibly. This helps Kirsty look beyond the first impression and assess concerns such as uneven texture, pigmentation, redness, visible sensitivity, fine lines and changes in firmness.

It also gives you a clearer way to understand your own skin. Instead of simply being told what may be happening, you can see the areas Kirsty is talking about and understand why certain treatments or skincare products may be recommended.

One person’s pigmentation may be linked to sun exposure. Another may have redness and sensitivity that needs calming before stronger treatments are considered. Someone else may be focused on fine lines, but the real starting point may be hydration, barrier support or skin texture.

The OBSERV 320 system uses five essential light modes to show different aspects of the skin.

Daylight

Daylight mode provides a clear baseline image of your skin as it appears under normal lighting.

This is the starting point for your skin consultation. It allows Kirsty to look at your natural skin appearance, discuss your main concerns and begin building a clear picture of what you would like to improve.

Texture

Texture mode highlights surface detail, including fine lines, pores and textural irregularities.

This can be useful if your concerns include roughness, uneven texture, enlarged-looking pores, fine lines, dullness, post-acne texture or skin that no longer feels as smooth as it once did.

It can also help Kirsty explain why treatments such as microneedling, peels, skin boosters or other skin-quality treatments may be recommended.

Pigmentation

Pigmentation mode helps reveal areas of uneven skin tone and sun damage that may not be as visible to the naked eye.

This can be especially helpful if your concerns include pigmentation, sun damage, age spots, uneven tone or areas of discolouration that seem to return or deepen over time.

By seeing pigmentation patterns more clearly, Kirsty can give more considered advice about treatments, skincare, SPF and realistic expectations.

Redness

Redness mode highlights areas of visible redness, sensitivity and vascular-looking activity within the skin.

This can help guide gentler recommendations where the skin may be reactive, flushed or more sensitive than it first appears.

If redness is part of your concern, Kirsty can use the analysis to support a more careful plan, which may include calming skincare, barrier support, laser or IPL options, or a slower treatment approach where appropriate.

Firmness

Firmness mode removes colour distraction so fine lines, wrinkles and skin texture can be assessed more clearly.

This can be useful where your concerns include early signs of ageing, crepey-looking skin, loss of firmness or fine lines that are difficult to assess properly under normal lighting.

It helps Kirsty consider whether your skin may benefit from treatments focused on hydration, collagen support, skin quality, injectables or a combination plan.
