Treatment Time

Your initial Eyeliner appointment includes consultation, treatment design, pigment application and aftercare guidance.

The exact appointment length will depend on whether you are having Lashline Top or Winged Eyeliner, as well as the level of detail required to create the agreed result.

Your initial treatment also includes a six-week top-up appointment. This allows Kirsty to assess how the pigment has healed, make suitable refinements and complete the result where needed.

Results

Your eyeliner may look darker or more defined immediately after treatment. As the area heals, the colour will soften and settle into a more natural-looking result.

Healing and pigment retention vary from person to person. Your included six-week top-up gives Kirsty the opportunity to review the healed result and make any appropriate adjustments.

Over time, permanent makeup will gradually fade. Kirsty can advise when a future colour refresh may be appropriate for you.

Downtime

Some temporary swelling, tenderness or sensitivity around the eye area can be expected after treatment.

The eyeliner may appear more prominent than expected at first, before it softens as the area heals. Light flaking can also occur along the lash line.

It is sensible to plan your appointment around important events, holidays or occasions where you would prefer not to be in the healing stage.

Aftercare A f t e r c a r e

Aftercare is an important part of achieving the best possible healed result from your Permanent Makeup Eyeliner treatment.

Kirsty will provide clear, treatment-specific aftercare instructions following your appointment. These will explain how to care for the eye area, what products to use or avoid, and when it is appropriate to return to eye makeup, skincare and your usual routine.

It is important not to rub, scratch or pick at the treated area while it is healing, even if light flaking occurs. Allowing the skin to heal naturally helps protect both the skin and the pigment.

You may also be advised to avoid eye makeup, lash treatments, swimming, saunas and strong active skincare products around the eye area while the skin is healing.
