Kirsty will provide clear, treatment-specific advice following your appointment. In general, this will include protecting the treated area from sun exposure, avoiding unnecessary heat and keeping the skin calm while any redness or sensitivity settles.

You may be advised to avoid hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, intense exercise and active skincare products on the treated area for a short period after treatment.

Between appointments, Kirsty will also advise you on the most suitable hair-management routine. It is important to follow this guidance, as some methods can interfere with the treatment plan by removing hair from the follicle.

Is This Treatment Right For Me?

Laser Hair Reduction may be suitable for many clients, but treatment success depends on the relationship between your skin tone, hair colour and hair type.

Because the treatment works by targeting pigment in the hair, very light, grey or white hair may not respond in the same way as darker hair.

Your consultation is an important part of the process. Kirsty will assess your skin and hair, discuss your medical history, current skincare, medications and lifestyle factors, and advise whether treatment is appropriate.

Treatment may need to be postponed where there is active irritation, infection, sunburn, recent tanning or another skin concern that needs to settle first.
